We had the incredible honor of participating in the WIRhE (Worldwide Initiative for Rh Disease Eradication) international, multidisciplinary board meeting in Amsterdam on July 1 and 2, 2024. We were surrounded by professionals passionate about helping the most vulnerable populations prevent and treat Alloimmunization and HDFN.

Key conclusions from the meeting highlight that Rh disease remains a neglected issue that should be prioritized in all maternal-neonatal programs and governments, globally. Notably, there is significant inequity in access to Anti-D prophylaxis (Rh Immunoglobulin), which has been available for almost 60 years. It was incredibly encouraging and inspiring to meet so many colleagues, all united by the goal of eradicating HDFN globally.
